Southern California has been experiencing a torrential downpour in recent days. And it seems like Kendall Jenner has found a way to be provocative while protecting herself from the rain. The 22-year-old model could be seen going completely nude under a clear Chanel cape in a photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar released on Thursday. The February 2018 cover girl could be seen laying back in a hot pink see-through chair while naked inside the waterproof garment. Kendall’s showy garment featured fringe around the hood as she paired it with a matching pair of clear boots also from Chanel. She certainly made a splash as tons of water rained down on the statuesque 5feet10 model with liquid strategically placed to cover up her private areas. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star tucked her wet raven-coloured locks under the hood of the designer garment as she contrasted her porcelain skin with bright red lipstick. As Kendall essentially matured with reality show cameras and paparazzi following her around, Cara, 25, asked if the elder Jenner sister ever felt like she’s missed out on anything by growing up in the public eye. The daughter of Caitlyn and Kris Jenner said:
‘The obvious answer is college, I guess, but I don’t even know if I regret that.’
She said that she had a relatively normal childhood as she went to school until the 10th grade before finishing out her high school career being homeschooled but still being able to see her friends.
‘I didn’t go to prom, though, which was kind of annoying. I can’t really complain except, for now, maybe, I would like to go to Disneyland or a public beach. To go to a beach in peace would be lovely. To be able to hang out and meet new people and not be bothered would be awesome.’
Cara queried the American beauty on what she thinks the difference is between being a supermodel today versus 20 years ago. Kendall responded:
‘I’ve actually talked about it with a couple of women, like Cindy Crawford, who have been doing this for a long time. I feel like social media obviously has a lot to do with how it’s different.
She goes on to say that people assume that it is easier for models today as there are social media and that they don’t even need to sign with agencies in this day and age. The reality star added:
‘But that’s just not true. I still had to go to all the castings, I still had to go meet all the photographers, I still had to do all of that to get to where I am now. There wasn’t a step taken out just because I had social media. I still have 12-hour days, I still have even 24-hour days sometimes; I still have to do all those things. We don’t work any less hard than the ’90s models did when they were young.’
Kendall’s February 2018 issue of Harper’s Bazaar will hit newsstands on January 23. Kendall seems to be channelling her inner Jennifer Beals from “Flashdance” here but substitutes a leotard with a clear Chanel raincoat and boots. Still makes quite a splash.
