Loudmouth US President Donald Trump had once called Diana Spencer, Britain’s late Princess, “crazy,” and even joked about giving her an HIV test.
In a series of radio interviews given to Howard Stern, Trump had openly expressed his admiration for Lady Diana, who according to him, was the third hottest woman in the world then.
he claims came to light last year when then-presidential candidate denied ever saying he could have nailed the “tragic” royal.
But audio has now emerged from the 1997 interview – just months after Diana’s death – which appear to contradict the President’s claims.
Stern is herd to ask Trump: “Why do people think it’s egotistical of you to say you could’ve gotten with Lady Di? You could’ve gotten her, right? You could’ve nailed her.”
Trump replied: “I think I could have.”
In the same interview, Trump jokes about giving Diana an HIV test, something that the New Yorker had previously suggested he would require women to do before having sex with them.
The two men are heard acting out a scene where Trump tells the recently deceased princess to get tested first.
Trump is heard joking: “Go back over to my Lexus because I have a new doctor. We wanna give you a little checkup.”
Writing in the Sunday Times in 2015, Scott said:
He bombarded Diana at Kensington Palace with massive bouquets, each worth hundreds of pounds.
Trump clearly saw Diana as the ultimate trophy wife. As the roses and orchids piled up at her apartment she became increasingly concerned about what she should do.
It had begun to feel as if Trump was stalking her.
When she died in the tragic accident in Paris in 1997 Trump told friends his biggest regret was that they hadn’t dated.
He said that he always thought he had a chance of romance and would have had a ‘shot’ with her.
