Priyanka Chopra’s maiden Hollywood flick ‘Baywatch’ is all set to release in India. But, CBFC won’t spare team Baywatch it seems, as troubles have started brewing for Priyanka Chopra and team Baywatch. CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) is worried about the ‘BIKINIS’ in the movie. Baywatch without bikinis is simply unimaginable, isn’t it?
Everybody knows how strict censor board is, when it comes to NUDITY coming from Hollywood. Now, Priyanka Chopra’s debut Bollywood movie Baywatch is up for the censor process, before it hits the theatres. And, that is bringing a lot of chaos for our esteemed censor board members.
As per a source in the know “It is a duvidha, a dharm sankat that beats all recent dilemmas. How do we grade the bikini festival in Baywatch? Guidelines clearly indicate that unnecessary nudity must be curbed. A lot of the Baywatch fans are under-age kids. In our films a big deal is made of bikini shots. Blame the producers for making the bikini look like a phenomenal happening.”
Well, Baywatch will lose everything if censor gets strict with it, as it is going to be full of skin show. The same source, talking about it said “We can’t curb nudity when it is projected on the beachside. We would object if girls in bikinis were shown in a discotheque or in a dining room. But how do we curtail the skin exposure when the entire film is by the beachside?”
This is indeed some serious issue for our ever so “sanskari” “Central Board Of Film Certification”!! Baywatch is all about the beach, swimsuits and hotties running around while on a rescue mission.
Priyanka Chopra will be playing the character of “Victoria Leeds” the baddie in the movie, which will hit the theatres in India on June 2.
