Millions of people are battling cancer at this very moment. The chemotherapy treatment that many patients go through are extremely difficult and patients had to go through some radiation.
17-year-old Mackenna Newman has had to watch her own mother go through thyroid cancer after she received a diagnosis last October.
This photo of her father waiting outside of the room of her mother where she is going through one of these radiation treatments has touched the hearts of many on twitter. The caption she provided is also very heartwarming though.
“My mom has to stay in her room in isolation for her cancer radiation so my dad set up a desk at her door to keep her company and I’m crying,” Mackenna wrote in a tweet that has since gone viral.
